Description
The field includes knowledge related to the design of production processes and production systems, their optimization, modeling and simulation, technology for the production of semi-finished products, technology for the production of components, methods of controlling their quality parameters, assembly technologies including virtual reality, issues of pre-production, production and post-production stages based on CAx (CIM, CAPE, ...). Acquires and applies knowledge from technical, informatics, mathematical-statistical and economic-social scientific fields. The main topics of the core of the department are suitably complemented by knowledge from the field of engineering and production technologies, engineering metrology and engineering, quality management, automation technology, information technology in technology, as well as industrial and materials engineering, energy, environmental, safety technology and other areas of engineering production. Carrying out creative activity in the field is based on a qualified evaluation of the results of basic and applied research, the ability to formulate new hypotheses and strategies for further research and development of the field. Creative activity in the field is characterized by independent, critical and analytical thinking, its appropriate application in the current conditions of the field, presenting the outputs of creative activity to the scientific and professional community in Slovakia and abroad. It is characterized by a high degree of integrity of scientific research, interpretation and presentation of acquired knowledge and achieved results, which in summary form the necessary basis for carrying out research and development and creating new knowledge in the field.List of 3rd-degree study programs in the same field of study:
