Description
The development of new mathematical-economic methods and heuristics with the application of computer technology enables the development of logistics as a scientific discipline based on a system approach, coordination, planning and global optimization. In order to successfully manage logistics tasks, such knowledge of logistics processes is necessary to be able to create their models. Logistics process models are represented by mathematical, physical or computer representation. Logistics uses a combination of knowledge from the theory of management and logistics, methods of analysis and synthesis, design, economics, modeling and simulation, informatics and information systems, graphics, traffic management, algorithmization and programming, methods of scientific work. An expert in the field of logistics solves the tasks of analysis and synthesis, design, design and optimization of logistics systems, ensures the operation, management, planning and design of systems such as logistics flows, chains and networks, and understands production as a dynamically changing system of material, information and financial flows in traditional production processes and also in fully automated, autonomous, unmanned systems under the terms of the Industry concept. This definition of the content of the field of habilitation and inauguration is the closest to the study field of transport, to which the field is assigned. This follows directly from the description of the transport study field defined in Decree no. 244/2019 Coll., where it is stated that transport is defined as a field of study that includes applied and interdisciplinary knowledge related to technology, operation, safety and quality of road, rail, water and air transport, pipeline and corporate transport, logistics, postal and information and communication services (in non-production as well as in production enterprises) at all levels of industry, including the operation of unmanned and space systems.List of 3rd-degree study programs in the same field of study:
