Description

a) Name of the department of habilitation proceedings and inaugural proceedings (hereinafter "HKaIK") Finance, Banking and Investing (hereinafter "FBI") b) Contents of the HKaIK department Habilitation and inauguration procedures are carried out in accordance with the Act on Universities No. 131/2002 Coll. as amended, by Decree of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic No. 246/2019 Coll. on the procedure for obtaining the scientific-pedagogical titles "docent" and "professor" as amended, Rules for the habilitation procedure and inauguration procedure at the Technical University of Košice no. P/TUKE/HKaIK/21 and the Instruction of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University in Košice PD/EkF/02/20 on the Procedure for obtaining scientific-pedagogical titles docent and professor at the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University in Košice. The criteria for evaluating the fulfillment of the conditions for obtaining the scientific-pedagogical titles "docent" and "professor" specify the criteria for the habilitation of docents and the appointment of professors at the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University in Košice, approved by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University in Košice on 04/05/2022 and the Scientific Council of the Technical University in Košice on June 24, 2022, which must be met by applicants for the scientific-pedagogical title "docent" or "professor". c) Characteristics of the HKaIK department Awarded title: doc., prof. Docent in the department of HKaIK FBI has job duties: FIELD OF EDUCATION - Contributes, in cooperation with the professor, to the development of knowledge in the field of study 8. Economics and management, FBI study program - Guarantees or participates in guaranteeing the quality and development of the FBI bachelor's study program in the field of study 8. Economics and Management - Leads lectures and seminars, evaluates students, including testing at state exams, supervises and opposes final theses - Supervises doctoral students - Creates study materials - Promotes and popularizes the study program in different forms and for different groups of interested parties. FIELD OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY - Performs research and development activities, publishes its results in high-quality foreign scientific journals, presents them at scientific or professional events of international importance - Prepares concepts and proposals for research and development programs and projects - Leads the research team - Organizes scientific events The professor in the department of HKaIK FBI has job duties: FIELD OF EDUCATION - Contributes to the development of knowledge in the field of study 8. Economics and Management, FBI study program - Guarantees or participates in guaranteeing the quality and development of the FBI study program in the field of study 8. Economics and Management - Leads lectures and seminars, evaluates students, including testing at state exams, supervises and opposes final theses - Supervises doctoral students - Creates study materials - Promotes and popularizes the study program in different forms and for different groups of interested parties FIELD OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY - Formulates trends and concepts in finance, banking and investing - He founds and runs his own science school - Performs research and development activities, publishes its results in high-quality foreign scientific journals published by renowned foreign publishers, presents them at scientific or professional events of international importance. - Prepares concepts and proposals for research and development programs and projects - Leads the research team - Organizes international scientific events Docent as well as professor in the department of HKaIK FBI is characterized by independent, critical and analytical thinking. He applies his own findings of theoretical analysis and complex scientific research in solving problems in the chosen field. It takes social, scientific and ethical aspects into account when formulating research objectives and interpreting research results. Based on his own outputs and findings, he can design, verify and implement new research and work procedures. It presents the results of research and development separately. He can determine the focus of research and coordinate a team in the relevant scientific field, obtain national and international projects.
