Description
Graduates of the bachelor's study program "Fine Art" have knowledge in the field of art history about the principles and theories of the relevant type of art, they master interpretation and implementation techniques, they understand the requirements for individual creative work. They understand the knowledge of artistic composition, color, font, surface and spatial realization, typography, they know how to analyze and apply them concretely. They can respond creatively to stimuli and problems from various disciplines when creating 2D and 3D artifacts.
Learning objectives
The graduate controls the creation process and artistic procedures, is able to analyze and define theoretical starting points. He has knowledge of the theory and history of art, aesthetics and philosophy. He orients himself in professional terminology, mastering concepts and principles, as well as historical contexts in the given field of art. He can use the acquired knowledge in analysis, authorship or interpretation in a way that demonstrates understanding of mutual or causal relationships. He knows how to use the basic conceptual and methodological apparatus within various categories of art. The graduate demonstrates creative abilities, artistic vision and the ability to express personality, masters interpretation and realization techniques, applies the functions of creativity and individuality when creating or interpreting a work of art. He can apply analytical thinking, draw his own conclusions and think creatively, conceptually and methodologically when solving specific problems in the given field of art.
Main learning outcomes
Based on mastering the practical basis of creative procedures and methods of creating or interpreting a work of art, the graduate is able to respond flexibly and present their opinions and positions related to the issue of the relevant type of art, defend their concepts and present them. Able to work independently or as part of a team. He can independently apply the acquired knowledge and skills when creating or interpreting a work of art. The graduate follows current trends and developments in the given field of art, continues his own professional and personal development, realizes the social dimension and value aspects of his creative activity.

The Faculty of Arts of TU Košice currently has the following spatial infrastructure: 1) The main building in the campus of TU in Košice at ul. Watsonova no. 4 (W4) 2) Premises in the buildings of the TU campus in Košice at ul. University no. 4 (V4) The Faculty of Arts TU in Košice has premises that are intended for lectures, seminars, exercises and studio work: 1) Auditorium F13 / W4-1. floor: Projection and presentation technology, interactive whiteboard, presentation PC with appropriate software (SW) with Internet connection. Capacity 60 seats. 2) Auditorium W2 / W4-ground floor: Projection and presentation technology. Characteristics of the information provision
FU TUKE students have sufficient information security available for their studies primarily through the TUKE University Library and the FU TUKE Faculty Library. Library services concentrated in the University Library (UK) of the Technical University in Košice include all activities from searching in the library fund to searching for information in the online catalog and available databases (WoS, Scopus, Springer Link, etc.) to making specific documents available in printed or electronic form in the UK TUKE fund (the total number of documents is 186,966, of which 64,228 books, 40,046 textbooks, 7,779 anthologies, 6,341 bound periodicals, 7,718 electronic documents, 31,846 final and qualifying theses).
