Description
Graduates of the Master's study program "Fine Art" in the 2nd degree of study continued their knowledge and skills, already acquired in their bachelor's studies. They analyze the latest knowledge in the field of art theory and apply innovative methodological procedures of creation from the point of view of social and ecological requirements of practice. In the process of creation, they are able to respond flexibly to the current events of the cultural scene and integrate a high aesthetic visual value in a unique author's program.
Learning objectives
The graduate should be independent, creatively active and able to define the relevant goals of creative work in the context of contemporary art in accordance with their artistic focus. He is able to take a critical look at his own creative activity and confront the latest knowledge of art disciplines with an emphasis on contemporary art and aesthetics of the 20th and 21st centuries. He is able to use the technological procedures that are necessary to create his own work of art. He is also able to define his own authoring procedures. He can communicate the results of his own creative activity through direct contact, and also indirectly using mass media, the Internet, social networks, etc. The graduate is in contact with the cultural community and is part of the professional public. As an artist, he is active in exhibition and presentation activities, he is able to respond to various social and cultural-artistic challenges, including relevant projects and grant opportunities. He is ready for independent artistic activity, he can articulate and defend his position on the artistic scene or in the given artistic context. He has internal discipline and an affinity for the long-term and continuous development of his own artistic program and author's strategy.
Main learning outcomes
A master's degree graduate is able to define and solve creative problems in an authentic and visual language at a professional level, cooperate with other experts in the implementation of architecture (or act as a pedagogue), and thus contribute to the formation of cultural awareness and to raising the level of spiritual and material creative culture in our environment .Develops and deepens his knowledge of artistic processes and theoretical basis for the creation or interpretation of a work of art and its reflection in terms of the latest knowledge, he is knowledgeable and ready to critically analyze and define problems in a given type of art, he orients himself in the multifaceted forms of artistic types, media and styles according to focus of study and in its related fields. The graduate is able to purposefully and independently search for and find productive stimuli for the construction of thought concepts, is able to realize or restore challenging works of art or perform artistic performances. He is able to consciously apply experimentally verified knowledge about the scope and effectiveness of means and procedures in accordance with his author's intention in all phases of the preparation and realization of a work of art or performance in his own work. Can specify and propose artistically original and innovative solutions and make effective decisions regarding the selection and use of methods, techniques and means of realization or restoration of a work of art. It deepens the ability to creatively search and discover contexts, new perspectives and artistic procedures, it can formulate issues, choose and defend its own solutions. The graduate is able to identify mechanisms for continuous personal professional development, is able to maintain contact with the latest developments in his discipline, possesses innovative thinking, knows how to apply the latest knowledge from the field of science and technology in his field, and is able to actively communicate about professional issues in a foreign language. He reacts flexibly and presents his opinions and positions related to the issue of the relevant type of art. Demonstrates the ability to think analytically, critically and conceptually when solving specific problems in a given type of art with regard to aesthetic, semantic, ethical and socio-cultural requirements. He can ensure practical activities in the given art field in terms of technology, organization and copyright. He is able to work in the field of formal and informal art education. He is aware of the value perspectives of his work."
