Spatial, material, and technical provision of the study programme and support
List and characteristics of the study programme classroomsAdequate spatial, material, technical, and informational resources are available to guarantee the quality of the study program STE and to achieve the set goals and outcomes of education. Link to the virtual tour - the spatial and technical equipment of the faculty: https://svf.tuke.sk/wps/portal/svf/uchadzaci/prehliadka-fakulty Material and technical equipment of the Center for Research and Innovation in Construction (CVIS) laboratory can be glimpsed here: https://www.cvis.sk/ The list of auditoriums, classrooms, and laboratories is available at: https://at.tuke.sk (administration of classrooms and lecture rooms).
Characteristics of the information provision
For the study program STE, the TUKE University Library enables access to study literature and information databases: http://www.lib.tuke.sk/ and the TUKE Digital University Library: http://www.lib.tuke.sk/Library/ Home/DigitalLibrary). Other necessary materials are provided directly by the teachers of the given subjects via the Moodle e-learning portal, which is also used to check students' knowledge and progress within the planned educational outcomes. Access to the necessary IT services is provided through the Institute of Computing Technology TUKE (https://uvt.tuke.sk/wps/portal/uv/software).
E-learning
Study materials are available at the Moodle e-learning portal, which is also used to check students' knowledge and progress within the planned educational outcomes. Lectures, exercises, or consultations take place via the CISCO Webex communication platform. For TUKE employees and students, access to these tools is free (https://uvt.tuke.sk/wps/portal/uv/sluzby/webex/prihlasenie-sa-do-webex, http://moodle.tuke.sk/ ).
Institution partners
Within the NKDS study program, several partners from practice are engaged in the educational activities, either as host lecturers or as organizers of excursions to compelling buildings and construction sites with issues/examples associated with the study program. Industrial partners are also involved in diploma and bachelor thesis topics, often focused on the existing problems, and needs of the practice. They take part in the assessment of final student projects and teaching materials and are appointed in state exams within state committees of individual study programs. Such cooperation guarantees quality and enhances study programs' implementation, development, and evaluation. Long-term partners from practice are listed in the Annual Report on Faculty Activities: https://svf.tuke.sk/wps/portal/svf/fakulta/vyrocne-spravy.
