Evaluation of the study programme quality by employers
1. Ing. Karol Angelovič, head of the development department, procurator of GRONBACH, k.s. Michalovce He commented on all the points: I agree. 2. Ing. Miroslav Jurčišin, PhD., manager, MCAE Systems, s.r.o., organizational component, Dubnica nad Váhom a) I agree with the comments The composition and content of the courses correspond to the set outputs and goals of the education, but it could be beneficial to strengthen the courses in the field of project management. One of the job positions mentioned when applying for graduates is the position of project leader. In this job position, it could be beneficial for the graduate if he orientates himself in the agile project management approach. b) I agree c) I agree Graduates of the study program will successfully apply themselves in the listed occupations and use their knowledge acquired during their studies there. d) I agree The staffing is at a high level and is made up of highly qualified experts in the field. e) I agree f) I agree g) I agree The study program fulfills the specific expectations of practice. Graduates of this study program are in demand for a long time in practice. 3. Ing. Ladislav Kandráč, PhD., Quality Leader, Garrett Motion Slovakia, s.r.o. Záborské a) I agree with the comments Within the program, I would recommend including subjects for application in the automotive industry with a focus on quality through projects and diploma theses, using quality tools, statistical analyzes through the Minitab program. The Minitab program is actively used by e.g. corporate companies Marelli PWT and ELS Slovakia as well as Garrett Motion Slovakia. b) I agree with the comments I recommend introducing a foreign language as compulsory (English, German) because it is the biggest weakness of students in engineering studies, where often students work in the positions of intern, trainee and then in engineering positions. c) I agree with the comments I agree that students of the given field apply on the labor market, but it is necessary to focus on practice and to transfer the given direction to study fields and programs. It is necessary to examine and analyze the needs of practice, what exactly employers need, then update specializations and the framework of study fields/programmes. d) I agree e) I agree with the comments It is necessary to evaluate the up-to-dateness of the equipment and adapt it to the needs of practice. It is important to connect to the basic pillars of practice and develop them at the university within the framework of modernization, industrialization and digitization. There is an excellent example of CAD, CAM within the SP, where students can simulate a part in a CAD/CAM program and then make it themselves on available machines. Such a principle needs to be applied in several spheres and especially applied for specific areas and specified positions. f) I agree g) I agree I definitely recommend PPSV. I recommend analyzing Lean Management, Six Sigma, Green Belt, Black Belt, PDCA, 8D, A3 and other tools standardly used in the automotive industry. 4. Ing. Dušan Manduľák, PhD., company manager, 1. PN, s.r.o. Prešov a) I agree Students have the opportunity to choose appropriate educational trajectories through subjects. b) I agree with the comments Profile of a graduate of PPSV in II. degree of study corresponds to the requirements placed on graduates with a given profile. I would consider it highly beneficial if the time span of professional practice in engineering companies were increased, or if students had more practical teaching. I also recommend further improving presentation skills. c) I agree Graduates of the SP PPSV are successfully employed in practice in the mentioned professions in Slovakia and abroad. They are in high demand on the labor market and I recommend accepting a larger number of students for the given study program. Competences, knowledge and skills of graduates acquired in the profile subjects of the study significantly contribute to the fact that PPSV graduates are sought after by companies from practice. This is evidenced by the number of graduates who have successfully applied themselves in practice and after a short time are mostly in leadership positions. d) I agree In my opinion, the staffing of the SP is satisfactory. The persons responsible for SP are erudite and competent. Teachers providing profile subjects in the study program Computer support of engineering production in II. at the higher education level are highly qualified experts and significantly contribute to the achievement of the set goals and outcomes of education. e) I agree Spatial, material and technical equipment of SP is at a very good level. Persons responsible for SP are trying to build and innovate laboratories and provide hardware and software for specialized classrooms. They cooperate with companies where students solve diploma theses and are also involved in various research and development projects. f) I agree g) I agree In my opinio

List and characteristics of the study programme classroomsThe laboratories and classrooms of the department provide possibility not only for the implementation of scientific research activities of the department's staff, but also for the professional training of students, especially in profile subjects. The laboratories are equipped with modern measuring systems and devices and are constantly being expanded with new devices, stands, devices and supporting measuring means. Computer classrooms are equipped with powerful computers with regularly updated software focused on numerical calculations, FEA manual NC programming and CAM CNC programming of production on production machines, CAD modeling, creation of technological procedures, etc. The audio-visual technique necessary for presentation purposes is standard. Students can also use the laboratories and classrooms outside the teaching process, e.g. within the framework of solving student projects, final theses or training. In addition, students have the option of remotely connecting to school computers. A complete list of the department's laboratories and classrooms, including their focus and technical equipment, is available on the department's website: https://www.sjf.tuke.sk/ktmappv/sk/studium/ucebne-katedry/20-frontpage/381-vm1-pocitacova-ucebna-cad-cam-cae https://www.sjf.tuke.sk/ktmappv/sk/studium/ucebne-katedry/20-frontpage/382-vm2-pocitacova-ucebna-cad-cam-cae https://www.sjf.tuke.sk/ktmappv/sk/studium/ucebne-katedry/20-frontpage/386-ucebna-programovania-vyroby-na-cnc-obrabacich-strojoch https://www.sjf.tuke.sk/ktmappv/sk/studium/ucebne-katedry/20-frontpage/385-s12-ucebna https://www.sjf.tuke.sk/ktmappv/sk/studium/ucebne-katedry/20-frontpage/383-s1-u
Characteristics of the information provision
Access to study literature and information databases is provided through the TUKE University Library: http://www.lib.tuke.sk/Library/Home/DigitalLibrary The library fund of UK TUKE consists of its own funds (books, scripts, proceedings, journals, final theses and electronic media). In 2022, the library fund consisted of 172,878 book units. The annual addition to the library is over 3,000 book units. The study room contains basic and supplementary study literature, journals, proceedings, encyclopedias, language and educational dictionaries. Users have free access to them. As part of the lending services, users borrow approximately 5,000 book units annually. The university library has barrier-free access to 2 elevators and 2 barrier-free toilets. There are 650 study places and more than 300 places with electrical sockets for charging laptops and mobile phones. The library has 32 desktop computers with Internet connection, intranet, Wi-Fi network and access to databases of electronic periodicals. Through the library's Copycenter, students have access to printing and reprographic services provided on 12 printers, 3 of which are large-capacity for oversized printing. The library also has its own digitization workplace with a scanning robot, as well as a book scanner for the public, which is located in the study room. Currently, the library fund is being built not only on a physical level (print and USB, CD, DVD), but also a repository of digitized books from the library fund on the MediaINFO platform, containing over 600 titles, is being developed. Access to information technologies is ensured through ÚVT TUKE: https://uvt.tuke.sk/wps/portal/uv/software
E-learning
Students have access to e-learning portals where study materials, presentations from lectures and exercises, various exercise instructions, solved examples, assignments, tasks for self-testing as well as didactic tests as part of credits, classified credits, semester and state exams are available. For the study program, we use MS Teams, LMS Moodle and our own portal created as part of the KEGA project in 2009/10. https://moodle.tuke.sk/moodle/ https://www.sjf.tuke.sk/mmnv/
