Employability

Evaluation of the study programme graduates employability
The Air Transport Management bachelor study program will have graduates in the academic year 2022-2023—graduation 30.6.2023. Practical experience from the previous Bc. study program RLD (Air Traffic Management) confirms that, as a rule, 91% of graduates continue their studies in an engineering study program. 2% are employed. 5% work abroad or are voluntarily unemployed. Graduates are applicable primarily in the transport/air transport sector in basic management and professional functions in the field of administration, management, and economics of an airline, airport company, or air carrier, or aviation services, in the aviation industry, in aviation training or related sub-sectors of logistics and forwarding, etc. source: Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic, www.uplatnenie.sk

Characteristics of the information provision
The University Library (UK) of the Technical University of Košice (TUKE) fulfills its mission mainly by building and making available the library and information fund and by providing comprehensive library and information services. Among the main services provided by UK TUKE to its clients are acquisition and loan services, consultation services in study rooms with publicly accessible PCs with anInternet connection, online catalogs of books, periodicals, and technical standards, access to scientific databases, online books, electronic journals, interlibrary loan services, central registration and creation of a database of TUKE publication activities, central registration of electronic final theses of TUKE students, seminars and training in library and IT education, ISBN agenda, publishing and printing services. The services of the publishing center also enable the creation of scientific publications even in the printing process. UK has built a modern library with a lot of new technologies, facilitating the work of students and employees of TUKE. It has secured 15 electronic databases for its clients. Searching for clients of the TUKE university network is ensured via the web portal of the UK digital library. The digital archive contains almost 90,000 digital publications by TUKE authors and more than 50,000 final theses of TUKE students. The UK has 165,000 library items in its database, of which there are more than 120,000 books and bound documents and 148 periodicals (73 foreign) and 42,000 documents for free selection in study halls. The basic information system for the education and teaching process at TUKE is the Modular Academic Information System (MAIS) and the LMS.
E-learning
Elearning is a system for managing the flow of education/knowledge that allows not only to sell knowledge, but also to share it and monitor its development and to get feedback on its effectiveness. E-learning represents the following functions: electronic processing of information, transfer of information using ICT to students, provision of services to students (e-service), distribution of products and services (DVD, Internet, etc.), management of the educational process (course administration). B.Sc. the MLD study program is accredited for face-to-face teaching in full-time and external form, with the possible use of the University LMS MOODLE - managed at the Institute of Computing Technology, providing services to the faculties as well, plus the Faculty LMS MOODLE - managed by individual departments of the faculties, also for e-learning, according to needs students to achieve educational outcomes and TUKE management instructions, or faculties for the organization of education, e.g. in crisis situations (emergency situation, state of emergency, etc.). E-learning allows the use of most of the available information and communication tools, with which we can not only present the curriculum, but also verify and test the course of the learning process. Great importance is attached to the inclusion of feedback elements in the form of various polls, polls, tests and questionnaires checking the understanding and mastery of the subject matter. The own teaching text can be graphically structured, it can contain multimedia, i.e. audio and video files, problem tasks, solved and unsolved examples, self-tests, etc. LMS (Learning Management System) approaches, manuals, are for register
Institution partners
When providing educational activities of the MLD study program, the university does not use direct partners to provide SP (except for invited lectures, excursions at partners), but also cooperates within the Innovation and Technology Transfer Section: https://www.tuke.sk/wps/portal/ tuke/university/usek-for-innovation-and-transfer-technology and University Science Park TECHNICOM: https://uvptechnicom.sk/ The Aviation Faculty of TUKE does not use direct partners in its educational activities (except for invited lectures by experts from practice), but cooperates in fulfilling its mission with several partners also within the so-called Partner program. https://lf.tuke.sk/wps/portal/lf/pre-verejnost/ponuka-spoluprace
