By studying the program, the graduate will acquire the ability to specialize and the prerequisites for permanent education. The Industrial Mechatronics study program, which is understood as an interdisciplinary study program, is aimed at training experts in the field of mechanical engineering and electrical engineering with knowledge of the basics of informatics and automation for operation, production, testing, and partially also the design of mechatronic systems with a focus on production technology and other related areas. These are machines, machinery and systems characterized by high functionality, movement and manipulation ability, which are controlled and controlled by modern automation and computer technology, digital, mostly distributed control systems. The acquired knowledge is mainly from the area of material engineering, the basics of construction, constructive and computer geometry, construction of machines and machine parts, engineering technology, statics, kinematics, dynamics, elasticity and strength, hydromechanics, thermomechanics, structure and properties of materials, programming techniques, prototypes of mechatronic systems, basics of technical design, technical documentation, informatics, methodology of technical creativity, basics of mechatronics, production technology, information security of mechatronic systems, cybernetics and informatics, mechatronic systems, automated control systems, industrial automation, engineering metrology, electrical engineering, industrial mechatronics, modeling of dynamic systems, production systems, system mechatronics, automation and automation technology, resistance of elements of mechanical systems.
Main learning outcomes
A graduate of the study program Industrial Mechatronics (1st degree) is able to analyze the problems and possibilities that open up in various areas of industry, to design parts of mechatronic systems in such a way that they meet the requirements placed on them, and also to create such systems and implement them. They are able to apply procedures for the creation of the concept of an industrial mechatronic system - to solve the concept design of a future mechatronic product. The graduate is able to work with managers, users of mechatronic systems and specialists of other professions. He also has the ability to complete the proposed solution to the final stage and cooperate in a solution team with other colleagues and is able to present the proposed solutions in an appropriate form and thus interest the potential customer. He also has the ability to search and analyze literary sources in English, communicate and present his solutions in English. He has the ability to understand and design simple electrical connections - design and create a prototype of an electrical system or part of it, and subsequently for the creation of technical documentation - active and independent work in the creation of drawings and procedures. Can create algorithmized tasks in a programming environment - active and independent work in creating simple flowcharts and source codes in a programming language. Subsequently, he is then able to design simple control systems – design and implementation of the control algorithm of a simple system. He has the skills to create a static, kinematic and dynamic analysis of solved systems and their parts - independently create a computational analysis of structural nodes from the point of view of statics, kinematics and dynamics. He can design, dimension and assess the mechanical resistance of parts - apply control calculations of parts and structural units and process his designs using CAD systems. He is ready to correctly design the technological procedure and material of the designed mechanical part - the design of the production technology of the part from the point of view of technology and economy of production.

Evaluation of the study programme quality by employers
Doc. Ing. Vladislav Maxim, PhD., manager of research activities, Kybernetes, s.r.o. a) I agree b) I agree c) I agree d) I agree e) I agree f) I agree g) I agree In our company MDJ, s.r.o. and Kybernetes, s.r.o. several graduates of Industrial Mechatronics and Industrial Automation second and third degree study programs are working. All these graduates have an excellent knowledge base and also possess practical skills and habits. Newer and more modern components and modules are coming to the market and it is necessary for them to continue their education, which they have no problem with. It is often necessary to consult with customers and suppliers also in English, and no shortcomings were found in this regard either. All graduates demonstrated their willingness to work in a team with other workers. Three employees are currently studying in the third degree of study in an external form, so some of our employees are currently also students in this study program. Ing. Jaroslav Rusnák, branch manager of TBH Technik, s.r.o. a) I agree b) I agree c) I agree d) I agree e) I agree f) I agree g) I agree Several employees from the Industrial Mechatronics study program work in our company, and we also cooperate with students on the Pneumobil student project. I highly appreciate the faculty staff's willingness to support this student project, which develops students' creativity. In the future, we recommend expanding the teaching to the issue of hydraulic systems.

Characteristics of the information provision
Access to study literature and information databases is provided through the TUKE University Library: http://www.lib.tuke.sk/Library/Home/DigitalLibrary The library fund of UK TUKE consists of its own funds (books, scripts, anthologies, magazines, theses and electronic media). In 2022, the library fund consisted of 172,878 book units. The annual addition to the library is over 3,000 book units. The study room contains basic and supplementary study literature, magazines, anthologies, encyclopedias, language and educational dictionaries. Users have free access to them. As part of the lending services, users borrow approximately 5,000 book units annually. The university library has barrier-free access to 2 elevators and 2 barrier-free toilets. There are 650 study places and more than 300 places with electrical sockets for charging laptops and mobile phones. The library has 32 desktop computers with Internet connection, intranet, Wi-Fi network and access to databases of electronic periodicals. Through the library's Copycenter, students have access to printing and reprographic services provided on 12 printers, 3 of which are large-capacity for oversized printing. The library also has its own digitization workplace with a scanning robot, as well as a book scanner for the public, which is located in the study room. Currently, the library fund is being built not only on a physical level (print and USB, CD, DVD), but also a repository of digitized books from the library fund on the MediaINFO platform, containing over 600 titles, is being developed. Access to information technologies is ensured through ÚVT TUKE: https://uvt.tuke.sk/wps/portal/uv/software
