Evaluation of the study programme quality by employers
On the basis of the presented documents and the knowledge gained during the discussion in the framework of the meeting of the Council os SP Automotive Electronics , representatives of external parties from practice welcome and support the existence and development of the Automotive Electronics study program, which is characterized not only by a narrow focus on specialization in the field of the automotive industry, but also by a certain degree of interdisciplinarity within the field of electrical engineering. Interdisciplinarity and thus also the production of graduates, who can find employment in various areas of automotive electronics but also in other job positions and specializations in electronics, is enhanced by the fact that the pedagogical activity is covered by several departments of the faculty. From their point of view, employers were, are and will be interested in applying graduates of the mentioned study program in practice. There is already a serious lack of qualified experts in this field, which is causing problems at filling vacant positions, and which hinders the faster development of the industry in the field of automotive electronics and related fields of electronics in Slovakia and especially in the eastern Slovak region.

Spatial, material, and technical provision of the study programme and support
List and characteristics of the study programme classroomsAll existing as well as new laboratories at FEI TUKE are used for teaching individual subjects. These laboratories are equipped with cutting-edge technologies for design, simulation, development, prototype implementation, characterization and testing of advanced electronic, sensor, robotic, mechatronic modules and systems, information and communication systems, but also systems from the fields of electrical engineering, mechanics, and materials research. FEI TUKE is one of the most successful Slovak institutions in obtaining funding for research projects through domestic and foreign grant schemes, within which several top laboratories and workplaces have been built and equipped. In addition, the faculty has sufficient computer technology and software equipment necessary for modeling, design, simulation and experimental verification of various electronic and electrotechnical systems. Lectures take place in classrooms equipped with blackboards and multimedia equipment, which in many cases also enables the online transmission of the educational activity in the case of a distance form of study. The FEI TUKE Computer center ensures the computer classrooms. Expert laboratories, which are equipped with various devices and equipment, provide experimental exercises. These are mainly the following laboratories: 1. Laboratory of measurement and measurement systems 2. Technological laboratory 3. Laboratory of Automotive Electrical Engineering 4. Laboratory of optoelectronic systems 5. Measurement and testing laboratory 6. Laboratory of microwaves and UWB systems 7. Laboratory of Regulated Drives The information on the experimental laboratories is published on their web pages
Characteristics of the information provision
Access to study literature and information databases is provided through the TUKE University Library: http://www.lib.tuke.sk/Library/Home/DigitalLibrary. The library fund of UK TUKE consists of its own funds (books, scripts, anthologies, magazines, theses and electronic media). In 2022, the library fund consisted of 172,878 libraries. units. The annual addition to the library is over 3,000 kj. The study room contains basic and supplementary study literature, magazines, anthologies, encyclopedias, language and academic dictionaries, users have free access to them. As part of the lending services, users borrow approximately 5,000 books per year. units. The library has barrier-free access to 2 elevators and 2 barrier-free toilets.
