Can use appropriate theory, practical procedures and tools to specify, design, implement and evaluate communication systems. The graduate will acquire the ability to specify, design and implement computer networks and their components, use the principles of effective work with information of various types and from various sources, use the principles of advanced technologies in the design of systems belonging to the field of computer engineering, integrate computer and communication technologies in the development of technical and system resources of mobile computing, work with tools used in the construction and documentation of technical means and system software of computer systems and networks, operate computer and software systems efficiently and effectively, and evaluate the quality of computer systems and networks. The graduate can present technical problems and their solutions in front of different groups of listeners, work effectively as a member of a creative team, organize independent education and development, maintain contact with developments in the field of computer systems and networks, and continue their own professional development.
Learning objectives
The study program is mainly designed for students who have completed secondary education with a general focus (gymnasiums) and students who have completed vocational secondary education mainly in the field of informatics and related fields. The program is aimed at acquiring basic theoretical and practical knowledge and skills from the field and study program. Within the study, emphasis is also placed on the development of creative thinking, technical creativity, the ability to solve practical problems individually and as a team using the latest knowledge of science and technology with the support of the latest technologies. The main goal of study in the first degree of the study program is the basic abilities, skills and competences in the field, so that the graduate - met the expectations of practice, the labor market and society, - acquired the necessary educational basis for continuing education at the second level and for his personal and social development, - met the expectations for the performance of the profession, - acquired the necessary habits that will allow him to quickly adapt to the needs of the labor market, which will enable him to apply in a wide range of professions related to the field. The intention is to equip the graduate with key knowledge, skills and competences in such a way that - in the course of his studies, he acquired basic and cross-sectional knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies in such a way that he understood the basic contexts and relationships related to the field of informatics, - knew and understood the basic methods and procedures that are used mainly in the field of information and communication technologies, with subsequent possible application especially in industrial practice, - knew how to actively acquire new knowledge and information and to be able to use them creatively in the development of the field, while also being able to creatively solve practical tasks using theory and development procedures, - was able to solve problems, tasks, assignments in new or unfamiliar environments, in the wider contexts of the field of study, - had the ability to integrate knowledge, work in teams and make responsible decisions in a changing environment, while being ready to take responsibility for their actions and decisions, - was able to formulate information about the procedure and results of solving tasks and was able to analyze the problem, - was able to communicate professional opinions with both experts and a lay addressee, - he got enough opportunities to creatively apply the acquired knowledge and skills in the team in the context of work and non-work practice, and at the same time, to be motivated but also able to develop them during further education, or self study.
Main learning outcomes
The prerequisite for achieving the set goals of education is the use of learning procedures and approaches that support the development of scientific systemic, critical and creative thinking through innovative organizational forms of teaching. The education and key skills of graduates are developed in such a way that they have the opportunity to choose "their" learning trajectory based on an appropriate combination of profile and other study subjects and on the basis of the required profile for the performance of the profession. The graduate demonstrates knowledge and understanding of it in the field of study, which follows on from general secondary education and is typically at the level of advanced textbooks supplemented with selected aspects of the latest knowledge from the field of study. Can use his knowledge in a way that indicates a professional approach to work and has competencies usually demonstrated by making and defending arguments and solving tasks in the field of study. Has the ability to acquire and interpret relevant facts, usually in the field of study, and based on them to make ethically and socially responsible decisions. He knows how to communicate information, concepts, principles, problems and solutions to professional and lay audiences. He has developed the learning skills necessary to continue further studies with a high degree of independence. He can understand, manage and use information and communication networks and systems and participate in research with a certain degree of independence. In addition to the application of known principles, typical features are creativity, complexity, complexity and synthesis of solutions, as well as responsibility when making decisions based on available information and in new situations within the field. The proof is that the graduate has basic theoretical knowledge and a developed professional approach to solving the problems of production and maintenance of electronic devices for a wide range of applications. The graduate knows how to use the acquired knowledge in solving problem-based tasks. Has the ability to analyze and solve assignments and tasks in the contexts of the field of study. Graduates are able to cope with the increasing demands of scientific, technical and economic development in the new century. Graduates are expected to be in high demand in all kinds of businesses that use computing. The Computer Networking degree program is designed to provide students with a wide range of subjects to choose from across the entire field of computer engineering, while also allowing the student to focus on a specific aspect of computer networking and study it in greater depth. A graduate of the computer network study program in the field of informatics is ready to study a second-level study program or to enter the labor market immediately. Graduates of the computer networks study program can find employment in various branches of industry in the field of electronics and computer technology, in the educational system, in banking, transport, health, ecology, etc. Bachelors have basic knowledge in economics, management and market economy. They can design, develop, implement, expand and adapt computer networks. They will gain in-depth knowledge of computer systems. They know the theoretical foundations of the field and know how to creatively apply them in practice. A thorough theoretical basis will enable them to follow, understand and create new development trends in the field of informatics. A graduate of the Computer Networks study program acquires and understands essential facts, concepts, principles and theories related to information and communication technologies, can use them in the design of computer-based systems in such a way that demonstrates an understanding of the context and consequences of alternative design decisions. can use appropriate theory, practical procedures and tools for specifying, designing, implementing and evaluating information and communication systems. A graduate of the computer network study program will acquire the ability to specify, design and implement computer systems and their components, use the principles of effective work with information of various types and from various sources, use the principles of advanced technologies when designing systems belonging to the field of computer engineering, integrate computer and communication technologies during development technical and system means of mobile computing, work with tools used in the construction and documentation of technical means and system software of computer systems and networks, operate computer and software systems effectively and efficiently, evaluate the quality of computer systems and networks.
